Play Boggle on your desktop computer, tablet, or mobile phone at wordplays.com. The objective of Boggle is to find as many words using adjacent letters in a grid of letters in the alloted time. Please read the Basic Boggle Help to learn the basic rules.
Playing Boggle
Enter answers in the text box above the puzzle matrix or click on the
letters in the grid. If you are using a touch device such as an iPad,
Kindle, iPhone, BlackBerry Torch, or Android phone, letters may be
selected by touching them.
Characters other than A-Z will be rejected while typing. Choosing a letter that is not adjacent to a previously selected letter will also be rejected. To clear the most recently selected letter, click or press it again, or type backspace.
Qu can be used for a Q followed by a U, or can be used as only a Q. Clicking Qu repeatedly will cycle through Q, Qu or remove the selection from the current answer.
When playing Wild Card Boggle, the value for the wild card must be entered in the answer text box above the puzzle matrix.
Boggle Icons
| Rotate the grid. The grid can be rotated by either clicking the rotate grid icon or hitting the space bar. |
| Remove the last entry. Click the red arrow to clear the grid and the current answer. If the grid is already clear, the last answer in the answer list is removed. |
| Repeat the last entry. Click the yellow arrow to reuse the last entry. This is often useful when words can be found with different endings. |
| Add an answer. Click the green plus sign to add the most recent answer to the answer list. |
| Change the puzzle type. Click the Puzzle Type button and select a puzzle type from the menu. |
| Solve the Puzzle. Solve the puzzle without waiting for the timer to expire. Scores are still eligible to be on the high scoree list if the time elapsed is under the time limit for the selected puzzle type. |
| New Puzzle. Skip the current puzzle and get a new one. |
| Timer. Click on this icon to stop and start the timer. Scores are not eligible for the high score list if the elapsed time exceeds the time limit for the selected puzzle. |
ENTERING ANSWERS |
Letters can be entered in the text field above the grid, or letters can be selected by clicking on them. You may click on one letter at a time, or drag your mouse or finger through the letters. You can even select one letter at a time, then finish the answer by dragging through the remainder of the letters.
Trace through the letters with your finger or mouse.
Letters may be entered in upper or lowercase. Invalid characters are removed automatically. Letters that are not adjacent in the grid are also removed. After completely entering the desired answer hit enter or click the green plus sign below the grid to add your answer to the list of answers.
A period (.) will repeat the last entry.
Answers are validated after the game is over. |
Boggle Results
Top Scores
If you are signed in and have one of the top ten scores, your name and
score will appear on the Top Scores list. Score are eligible for the
Top Scores list only if the puzzle was completed in the alloted time.

Check out your past results and see how your game is improving. You must be signed in to see Your Scores.
